PO Box 673042 Milwaukee, WI 53267-3042. If you mail your payment please be sure to include your bill stub or make sure your customer account number is clearly indicated on your check. Credit card or            e-check payments can also be made over the phone at 815-233-5644.

Office hours- are 8:00 A.M.-4:30 P.M. Monday though Friday. After business hours, messages will be taken by an answering service.

     All refuse MUST be contained in garbage cans or bags not to exceed 33-gallon size and not to exceed 50 pounds per container. All refuse and recyclable items should be placed no more than 2-3 feet from the edge of the road. Please have trash on the curb the night before so it is waiting for the drivers when they arrive, as collection times vary from city to city. Our drivers radio the office to advise us of those customers who fail to place their refuse out in time for pickup.

     If you have extra volume such as furniture, appliances, construction debris or miscellaneous debris, please contact our office at least a day in advance of the pickup day. There are varied charges for all extra items, which are determined by our driver according to weight, volume and time. Drivers will not pickup additional items unless you have made arrangements with our office to do so.

     Allowed 1- 32-gallon can or bag per week and not to exceed 50 pounds. Each additional bag or can must have a sticker attached where it is visible by the driver. Have trash out to the curb by 5:00 A.M. the day of your pickup for the City of Freeport.

     Gill's Freeport Disposal provides residential service to thousands of homes, making us one of the largest residential service providers in northwest Illinois. Yard waste service
     In the City of Freeport there are 2 options for yard waste pickup. Option 1: Resident pays a one-time fee of $30 and then must put a sticker on each can or bag of yard waste they put out to be taken. Option 2: Resident pays a one-time fee of $120 and then they are unlimited on how much yard waste they put out and are not required to use stickers Yard waste pickup is done on Tuesday. Please have yard waste out by 5:00 A.M.

     Yard waste can be placed in Kraft paper bags, which can be bought at you local hardware store, or you can use a 32-gallon can marked with an X, facing towards the street. Bags, cans and yard waste should not exceed 50 lbs. Branches should be bundled and are not to exceed 4 feet long by 2 inches in diameter. Yard waste pickup begins around the end of April. Residents must call our office to set up yard waste service.

Villages of Davis/Dakota/Ridott/Orangeville/Lena/Rock City/Pearl City, we do not offer yard waste pickup to these villages.
 

Holidays
     No collection on New Year’s Day, Memorial Day. July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day or whenever the disposal facility is closed. If your pickup falls on or after these holidays, collection will be one day later. If any of the above holidays fall on a Saturday or Sunday, your pickup day will be unaffected.
