Residential Trash Service
Gill's Freeport provides Freeport residents with a 95-gallon waste container only, specifically designed to accommodate the needs of larger families and households that generate higher volumes of waste. Overage or extras can be placed in bags or personal cans not exceeding 32 gallons or 50 pounds. Replacement or additional totes are available for $120/ annually up front.

Recycling Service in Freeport

Yard Waste Pickup in Freeport
Yard waste service is not included in regular collection. Residents may subscribe to a yard waste program, which includes a 65-gallon container. Please call for pricing and enrollment. Grass clippings, leaves, weeds, twigs
Please remember that you must call our office to sign up for yard waste collection service. We will be unable to pick up yard waste for residents that are not signed up for this service.

Bulky Items & White Goods Collection in Freeport
In Freeport, bulky items are picked up by request and each item carries a collection fee of $20. Service is provided on Thursdays and must be scheduled prior to pickup. Please call customer service to register your items, confirm pricing, and secure a collection appointment. All items must be placed curbside following municipal disposal standards.
Bulk items include: boxes, barrels, crates, furniture, and similar items that do not fit into a proper container and can be collected/lifted by one driver without assistance. Exceptions include items which are banned from direct disposal into a landfill (appliances, tires, car batteries, TV’s, electronic waste). No construction waste accepted.
Contact us to schedule a pick up in advance. Items should not be placed at the curb until the evening before the confirmed scheduled collection.
